Jeff Cohen is an arbitrator, mediator, and expert witness.  In addition to being the sole member of Jeffrey B. Cohen ADR, LLC, he is of counsel at Tawshunsky Law Firm, PLLC in Washington, DC, specializing in ERISA and employee benefits.   https://www.tawshunsky.com  He is a former Chief Counsel of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, the federal agency that insures traditional, private pension plans.  In that capacity, he directed the work of 50 attorneys and served as lead counsel for the agency in major bankruptcy proceedings and ERISA litigation.

Mr. Cohen is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the State University of New York at Binghamton. 

Mr. Cohen is on the Roster of Neutral Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association for Pensions and Employee Benefits and for Consumer Cases.  Additionally, he is on FINRA's Roster of Public Arbitrators.  He is also available to serve as a neutral on an ad hoc basis in disputes relating to ERISA and employee benefits, employment, bankruptcy, law firm disputes such as dissolution and dissociation, and commercial disputes.  Mr. Cohen is also available to serve as an expert witness on complex ERISA matters involving single-employer or multiemployer pension plans.
